ARTS
Partnerships in the arts provide creative channels for connecting people to the environment. For example, artists may work with children to create murals or poetry projects on nature trails. And a community’s traditional arts, such as quilting and ceramics, can provide entrepreneurial as well as educational opportunities.
Partners in environmental arts projects often include artists, musicians, folklorists, state arts and humanities agencies, native tribes, and federal land management agencies.
